Orlu APC Poll: Ihezuo Denies Knowledge Of Consensus Candidate

Member representing Orlu State Constituency in Imo State House of Assembly, Barr Ikenna Ihezuo has accused those he described as fraudulent leaders of criminally affixing his signature in the letter of the purported endorsement of one of the Local Government Chairmanship Aspirants, Egwuatu as Consensus candidate for the seat.
This is even as he charged all the contestants to remain focused , assuring them of Government’s readiness to conduct a full blown primaries.
In a release signed by Ihezuo himself and made available to Lead, he appealed to the leadership of the Party at the State to immediately remove the APC Local Government Chairman of Orlu,Prince Stanley Nwosu to save the party from public odium.
Ihezuo was reacting to the publication carried out by Lead Express of last edition wherein Dr Emeka Enyinna signed in his capacity as Coordinator and Peter Okorie as Secretary of the gathering, endorsing the candidature of Henry Egwuatu as the consensus Local Government Chairman for Orlu in the forthcoming Local Government election.
In the said release, Ihezuo who is the Chairman, house Committe on Judiciary revealed that in preparation for what he described as purported endorsement of the said Egwuatu as the consensus candidate, the Orlu APC Chairman, Nwosu had few days ago, announced the purported suspension of two Aspirants for the position, Pastor Chris Mbarie and Ikechukwu Okonkwo.
