Ahead of March 11th, 2023 Imo House of Assembly election, the PDP candidate for Orlu State Constituency and incumbent house member representing Orlu state constituency, Hon chief Paschal Okolie(Ebekuodike, Ojinkeyaeme) has cautioned the Labour party candidate, Comrade Precious Uwadi Nwadike against dropping his name on the pages of Newspapers that he has won him at both High Court and Appeal Court.

This is even as he described his aspiration as an avenue to seek public attention and awareness and not contesting to win.

In a Press release signed by his Media team and made available to Lead, the House member who is also the PDP candidate for the 2023 polls called on Precious Nwadike to meet him at the polls instead of blackmailing him on the pages of Newspapers over what he described as cheap popularity.

One of the Owerri based Tabloids had on several occasions beamed it’s headlines banner with a Caption”Precious Nwadike Again Floors Paschal Okolie at the Court of Appeal”

Reacting to this publication, Okolie media team made it clear that there had not been anytime, their Principal Hon Paschal Okolie popularly known as Ebekuo Dike of Orlu took crying Nwadike to Court adding that PDP as a political party in Imo dragged all their members who contested the Party’s primaries for different positions in 2022 and ran to other Political parties after their loss and not Hon Paschal Okolie targeting Nwadike whom he described as a political light weight.

In the said release, Okolie made it clear that Senator Ezenwa Onyewuchi, the incumbent Senator representing Imo East in the Senate, Hon Henry Nwawuba, the incumbent member representing Mbaitoli and Ikeduru Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives, the Labour party candidate for Orlu,Orsu and Oru East Federal Constituency,Hon Jeff Ojinika, Precious himself amongst Others are in Court with the Imo State chapter of the PDP and wondered how Precious Nwadike has constantly gone to the Press to deceive the public that he, Okolie is in Court with him or he has defeated him.

Okolie who described Nwadike as a political paper tiger, urged Nwadike to stop acquiring cheap popularity by dropping his name on the pages of print media and other social platforms. Okolie advised Nwadike to meet him in the polls if he is serious for a contest, he however charged his numerous Supporters to remain focused and supportive as victory would certainly be theirs. “I lost election in 2015 and didn’t go to court and didn’t negotiate for not doing so.

I don’t have energy to waste a Nwadike who came distant last in the PDP primaries. We have met before and I am eager we meet at the polls in March”the release reads in part.
