Publication Against Igwe Umuna: Lawyer Writes Nze Ihezue

: Demands Retraction Within 7 Days.

Traditional Ruler of Umuna Autonomous Community, HRM Eze Dr Douglas Okwara has demanded a retraction from what he described as a libelous publication against his person.
In a letter signed by the Monarch’s lawyer,Barr O.P Anaele of Prissy Chambers and made available to Lead Express, the Monarch issued a one week notice of retraction to the said Ihezue and failure to do that ,he would be left with no option than proceeding to Court.
As contained in the Letter, Nze Ihezue had on Friday 24 May 2024 issued a Press release where he accused Igwe of Umuna of claiming that the Land where Imo State Government has sited the new Government House annex belongs to Umuna Autonomous Community.
