Member representing Orlu State Constituency in Imo House of Assembly, Dr.Ikenna Ihezuo appears to have achieved another milestone as Imo State Governor, Senator Hope Uzodinma has approved the immediate construction of one of the most important but delapidated Roads in Orlu LGA, the Eziachi/ Umuzike/ Umudioka Road.
Recall that this all important but delapidated Road was part of the Roads contained in the motion by Ihezuo when he moved the motion for the construction of the old Owerri Road in Orlu LGA which the Governor hearkened to and the Road was immediately reconstructed.
Speaking to Lead Express, Ihezuo, a legal practitioner of many years standing expressed gratitude to the Govenor for hearkening to his desires adding that posterity would be kind to him for assuaging the pains of Orlu People infrastructure wise.
Ihezuo who doubles as Chairman, House Committee on Judiciary as well as Chairman House Committee on information however appealed to Orlu People to remain supportive of the Uzodinma led administration which according to him has come to change the narratives of government and governance in Imo.
The Imo State Executive Council, chaired by Governor Hope Uzodimma had at the last executive meeting approved the reconstruction and rehabilitation of several strategic roads to enhance transportation, support commerce, and promote economic development.
Aside the Eziachi/ Umuzike/ Umudioka Road, the Governor also approved Umuezeala – Umuode – Ekeuodu – Umukabia Road (Ehime Mbano, 3.6 km)
Others include, Zoo Old Nekede – Claretian University Road, Nekede Owerri
