Singer Yemi Alade has berated the Lagos state government over the recent demolition of houses that are said to be on the right of way of water channels. This is even as she accuses them of destroying  the real estate value of the country. 

Recall that the state Ministry of Environment and Water Resources has demolished many houses in recent times. 

On Saturday, May 4, the Ministry demolished a few houses in the Mende area of the state, and some residents of the demolished houses claimed that they were only given two hours notice before the demolition took place. 

In a video released via an  Instagram handle,  Yemi was seen berating the demolitions being carried by the state government,  which according to her is ruining the real estate value of the state and Nigeria at large as people will be scared to invest in the country because of fear that their investments can be demolished in the future.
