Breaking: States Creation: Finally, ANIM State Becomes A Reality As South East Leaders Give Consent

The struggle for the creation of ANIM State from the old Imo, Anambra appears to have become a reality as leaders of the Zone unanimously agreed through voting on ANIM.
Lead Express of Wednesday December 3 revealed that as at 11 Pm on Tuesday December 2nd, the leaders of the South East were in Abuja, casting their votes as organized by the National Assembly to get the desired State from the South East.
Lead gathered that the People from South East all gathered at the House of Senator Osita Izunaso, the senator representing Imo West were the Senator addressed the leaders passionately and informed them reasons why ANIM State should be created.
After the voting, creation for ANIM State received overwhelming votes hence it was declared the first state to be created anytime the Federal Government embarks on the creation of new States.
However, Imo State Governor, Senator Hope Uzodinma who has not relented in his pursuit for the ANIM State announced few days ago that the new Government House Annex built by his administration would soon be completed.
The Governor also announce that the new Secretariat for the said ANIM State in same Orlu would soon be completed.
Recall that Uzodinma administration had put these projects in place in preparation for the new State.
Speaking to Lead Express on the creation of ANIM State, one of the leaders of Orlu,Barr Peter Mgbewenu expressed gratitude to Imo State Governor, Senator Hope Uzodinma and Senator Osita Izunaso for championing this project which he described as an achieved project.
According to Mgbewenu, with the planned creation of this State, South East would regain it’s lost glory in Nigeria politics while thanking God for doing this in his life time.
With the ANIM State coming first, the leaders will send the name to the Senate for onward recognition.
