The Majority Leader of the Imo State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Kanayo Onyeamachi (Egbe Eji Eje Ogu I of Owerri West), will today, Monday, April 21, 2025, hold a special thanksgiving and reception ceremony.
The event, organized by the Traditional Rulers, town unions, and affiliated bodies of Oforola community in collaboration with stakeholders of Owerri West LGA, is being held in appreciation of Hon. Onyeamachi’s political achievements and service to the people.
The thanksgiving service is scheduled to take place at Christ Anglican Church, Oforola, beginning at 10:00 a.m. This will be followed by a grand reception at Central School Oforola at 12 noon.
The event will be chaired by the Mayor of Owerri West LGA, Barr. Bethel Nzimako, and will have the Deputy Speaker of the Imo State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Amara Iwuanyanwu, as the Special Guest of Honour.
Dignitaries, political stakeholders, friends, and well-wishers from across the state are expected to grace the occasion.
