A prominent youth association, known as Imo Youth Elites has respectfully given an award of honour to a distinguished personality, in the person of Chief Sir Christian Chuka Uchegbu for his hallmark affection for mankind manifested in selfless devotion to work and service to humanity and society at large.
He was honoured on the 18th day of march 2024 in his office located at new Owerri, Imo state Nigeria.
Speaking after receiving the award, Chief Sir Christian Chuka Uchegbu while expressing his profound joy thanked the Almighty God and the Imo Youth Elites members for honouring him with the prestigious award. He promised to do all in his disposal for the youths of Imo state adding that supporting youths of Imo state and beyond in the area of scholarships, employment opportunities, payment of school fees to indigent students is his utmost priority and promised to do more for the youths.
Earlier in his remarks, the president of Imo Youth Elites, Comrade Emmanuel Okemiri said that Chief Christian Chuka Uchegbu who is the Chef Executive Officer of Chukas Place hails from Isiala Mbano LGA of Imo state and manages a mega indoor and outdoor eatery company in the Eastern heartland, Owerri.
He said: ” Chief Uchegbu has performed exceptionally well and still performing in his field of endeavour, and that attracted the attention of Imo Youth Elites. Sir Uchegbu ( Chukas) is a diligent man, hardworking, proactive and prominent in his business. He is one of the largest employers of labour in the city of Owerri offering exceptional services through his famous mega eatery company. He has helped a good number of indigent women to pay their hospital bills. He has assisted in footing the bills of student’s tuition fees who could not afford their fees.”
“Ozo igbo ndu as he is fondly called has been at the forefront of development in his community, Isiala Mbano. He gave stipends to elderly people, amongst other philanthropic gestures to the society, the president noted.” Imo youth Elites came in their numbers from the 27 LGAs of Imo state to honour Chief Uchegbu.
