:Accuse Nwakanma, Anyanwu Of Plot To Corner Land

The people of Umuawa/ Umunwoko Kindreds in Umuofor Obike of Ngorkpala Local Government have exonerated the Chief Political Adviser and Head of Political Bureau to the Imo State Governor, Chief Enyinna Onuegbu from the ongoing land dispute between them, Chikadibia Anyanwu and the SA to the Governor on Land Recovery, Paschal Nwakanma.
This is even as they wrote to the Governor, asking him to call to order, the said Paschal Nwakanma whose actions they described as notorious.
In a letter titled “Open Letter To The Governor, Enyinna Onuegbu Is Persecuted for Carrying Out His Assigned Duty” as signed by the Representatives of the Kindreds, reads,we have seen series of blackmails against Chief Enyinna Onuegbu, the Chief Political Adviser To the Governor and Head of political Bureau on pages of Newspapers hence our resolve to put the records straight”the Letter reads in part.
As contained in the Letter, the People of Umuawa/Umunwoko Kindreds mapped out a portion of their Land to sell and in the course of getting a buyer, One Chikadibia Anyanwu in a plot to grab their land allegedly collaborated with Paschal Nwakanma who place embargo on the said Land, claiming that the said Land was under investigation by the State Government.
After placing our Land for sale,and started negotiating with an Agent,by name “Morocco” we were surprised to see sign posts mounted on sides of the Land one morning with varying inscriptions, buyers be warned, this Land is not for sale, this Land is under investigation by the State Government”the letter further reads.
It was at this point, according to them they contacted Onuegbu who represents the Governor as Lands Commissioner to ascertain if the State Government had interest as said adding that
Onuegbu after search informed them that the said Land does not belong to the State Government as claimed by Nwakanma and cohorts.
Describing Nwakanma’s attitude towards Land as anti Uzodinma’s plans for Imo, the people revealed that their ownership of the Land has been confirmed by both Customary Court, Customary Court of Appeal as well as Appeal Court with the following suit numbers ,00/0/176/87, suit no/CCA/ Ow/A/21/200 and suit no/CA/ph/96/2006.
Describing Onuegbu as having no interest in the said Land, the Land Owners made it clear that throughout the forty years the matter lasted in Court, Barr Mike Nwachukwu and Barr C,K Okorie and not even Onuegbu.
