US Gospel Singer Gives Himself A Nigerian Name

Grammy Award Winning Gospel rapper Lecrae, has given himself a Nigerian name – Adewale Obinna.

Adewale who revealed this via his Instagram announced it after finding out through DNA that his origin emanated from Nigeria.

The ‘Jireh’ hit maker said that a recent DNA test has revealed his ancestors actually came from Nigeria.

He went ahead to say that the kind of love he received when he visited Nigeria was exceptional.
