Imo State Governor, Senator Hope Uzodinma has announced readiness of the Government to pay Seventy Thousand minimum wage to workers. The announcement was made on Tuesday at the Government House in Owerri, following a meeting with labour leaders.
According to the Governor, the decision was a reaffirmation of the state’s dedication to the well-being of Imo workers and pensioners.
“This decision, a result of extensive consultations with labour leaders, underscores our commitment to improving the living conditions of our workforce,” Uzodimma, said the Governor.
In addition to the new minimum wage, the Governor further revealed the readiness of the Government to pay the 13th month salary to Imo Workers.
