The Women Awake Solution Outreach, an organization with the sole aim of showing forth the glory of God by reaching out to the needy in the society has recently reached out to the indigents in Owerri, Imo State.
The outreach which was carried out by the group was to support and assist the needy who gathered as the women shared with them some food items in these pressing times.
Speaking during the event, the leader of the organization, Prof Mrs. Obinuju Blossom Oku, specifically stated that the Women Awake Solution has come to reach out to the needy because the world is hurting and the people are hungry, thus the act of loving through giving is what the people need now.
Speaking further, Prof Oku enjoined ndividuals who are touched by this very act not to hesitate in supporting the movement that is already making a difference through giving. This is even as she reminded that “he that considers the poor, that the Lord will help that person in the days of trouble… Ps 41:1).”
