Bandits, on Monday, blocked Gusau /Zaria Expressway and kidnapped a number of travellers.
Informtion gathered revealed that the bandits blocked the road for about 30 minutes shooting sporadically.
A would-have been victim who escaped told our correspondent that the armed bandits were in good numbers.
According to reports, since the beginning of the farming season, the bandits have been blocking roads on a daily basis, killing, attacking and kidnapping farmers.
It was not clear as of the time of filing this report whether the military personnel neutralized some of the bandits.
