The International Students Film Festival (ISFF) has come to an with what attendees described as in a grand style .
The event which took place at the Premises of Imo State University with a Theme “Legacy” had people from different walks of life in attendance, particularly Students of Wigwe University Rivers State
Speaking at the said event, the founder of the program, Ambassador Lancelot Imaseun commended the local Organising Committee chaired by Prof Gloria Ernest Samuel for a job well -done.
Describing the event as the best since the inception of the program, Imaseun however appealed to Students to take the program serious adding that it exposes the Students to film making amongst others.
In his submission, the Special Adviser to Imo State Governor on Entertainment,Hon Bobby Michael expressed gratitude to the Local Organising Committee stressing that they indeed performed creditably Earlier in her speech, the Chairperson of the Local Organising Committee, Prof Gloria Ernest Samuel thanked the IMSU Management for providing the Committee with needed materials to carry out the assigned duty.
She specifically expressed gratitude to IMSU Vice Chancellor,Prof U.U Chukwubueze, the Head of Theatre Department, Dr Anthony Ebiriukwu for their cooperation.
The climax of the event was award given to the following Persons “(1)Hon. Bobby Micheal – ISFF 2025 Creative Leadership Award.
- Vitalis Ndubisi — ISFF 2025 Nollywood Veteran Award.
- Ben Amushie – ISFF 2025 Diaspora entertainment worthy Ambassador Award.
- Benjamin Njoku – ISFF 2025 Legend of the Pen Award.
- Royal Prince – ISFF 2025 Nollywood Beacon of Hope Award.
- ISFF 2025 Nollywood veteran filmmaker award Dr Chika Christian Onu
- ISFF 2025 Media Icon Award Mr. Chukwuwesani Joseph
